Troughs will gain moisture from southeasterly winds, causing showers on the east coast to increase & spread inland across QLD. A high will lead to a chilly morning & generally dry day in western NSW, VIC, TAS & SA. Weak troughs in the west will only cause patchy light rain in WA.

Troughs will gain moisture from SE winds, causing showers on the east coast to become heavier & spread inland across QLD & northern NSW. A high will lead to a chilly morning & generally dry day in southern NSW, VIC, TAS & SA. Troughs in WA will trigger thundery rain inland.

A trough will scatter rain & storms across WA as a front & low bring gusty winds & showers to the west. Troughs in the east should weaken, causing showers & storms to ease & become isolated in QLD & NSW & SA's far east. A high will keep VIC & TAS dry, leading to a chilly morning.

A trough, front & low will generate rain, storms & blustery winds across WA, some intense. Troughs in the east will cause isolated showers & storms in WA, QLD & NSW, mainly on the coast. A high will keep VIC & TAS generally dry, leading to another chilly morning.

A trough, front & low will weaken as they cross WA, causing blustery winds to ease & for rain & storms to become patchy in the state. Some rain & storms will reach SA's west. Atorughs in the east will weaken further, causing showers & storms to become mainly confined to the coast
