A trough and low is continuing to bring areas of rain to northeastern parts of NSW. A low pressure trough approaching western SA is causing hot, dry and gusty winds to increase, leading to elevated fire danger. A cold front in the southwest is causing wind and rain to increase.


Thursday 22:00 EST

Very warm and gusty winds will move across SA and western VIC ahead of a low pressure trough. A cold front clipping the south will bring a gusty cold change, showers, and a few storms. Onshore winds will trigger a few showers for southern WA.


Friday 22:00 EST

A trough looks to deepen over the southeast, bringing showers and storms with warm winds ahead of it. A cold front will follow, bringing brisk showers to the south. Onshore winds will continue to bring the odd shower to southern WA.


Saturday 22:00 EST

A low pressure trough in the east looks to deepen further over NSW, bringing showers and thunderstorms. Breezy and cool onshore winds may generate a few showers to SA, VIC and TAS. A trough in the west is drawing warm winds towards the coast.

A trough in the east may cause showers and storms in central QLD. Onshore winds could bring rain to coastal QLD and eastern NSW. A trough in the west looks to bring hot winds across the northwest. A high in the south should bring sunny conditions.
