Final Flood Watch For North West Coast Of Northern Territory

Monsoonal flow persists near the north and west coast of the Top End. Tropical Cyclone Anika is located in the northern Kimberley and is expected to continue moving southwest, away from the Northern Territory.
Rainfall totals of 80 - 150 mm have been recorded in the past three days and up to 200 mm along the coast over the same period but mainly confined to the far north west parts of the Northern Territory.
Many parts of the north west Top End coast can be expected to receive daily rainfall totals of 20 - 50 mm for the next few days with isolated higher totals possible.
Streams and creeks have responded in places along the north west coast of the Northern Territory. Some roads may be affected but conditions are expected to ease going into the week ahead.
