Final Flood Warning For The Mulgrave And Russell Rivers

MINOR FLOODING HAS EASED ALONG THE MULGRAVE AND RUSSELL RIVERS
Rainfall recorded since 9am Tuesday was up to 175 mm across the Mulgrave and Russell River catchments.
Showers and thunderstorms are forecast during Wednesday with isolated heavy falls possible.
A Flood Watch is current for the North Tropical Coast region.

Mulgrave River:
Minor flood levels have eased on the Mulgrave River.
The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge is currently at 4.00 metres (below minor flood level) and falling.
The Mulgrave River at Peets Bridge is expected to remain below the minor flood level (5.00 m) during Wednesday.

The Mulgrave River at Gordonvale is currently at 10.95 metres (below minor flood level) and falling.
The Mulgrave River at Gordonvale is expected to remain below the minor flood level (12.00 m) during Wednesday.

Russell River:
Minor flooding has eased along the Russell River at Bucklands and will slowly ease at Clyde Road during Wednesday..
