Final Flood Warning For The Warrego River (Qld)

RIVER LEVELS EXPECTED TO REMAIN BELOW MINOR AT AUGATHELLA AND BETWEEN CUNNAMULLA BRIDGE AND ROCKY
Rainfall totals of 35-55 mm were recorded in the very upper reaches of the Warrego catchment in the 24 hours to 9:00 am Friday, with the majority of this rainfall occurring mid to late Thursday morning. No further significant rainfall is expected over the next few days.

Warrego River to Charleville:
River level rises are expected during Friday and over the weekend in response to recent heavy rainfall.
The Warrego River at Augathella is currently at 1.47 metres (below minor) and steady.
River level rises are expected during Friday and early part of the weekend along the Warrego River at Augathella but the river level is now expected to peak below the minor flood level (4.00 m) during Saturday.

The Warrego River at Charleville is currently at 1.12 metres (below minor) and steady.
The Warrego River at Charleville is expected to remain below the minor flood level (4.00 m) over the next few days, with only small river level rises likely.

Warrego River downstream of Charleville:
Recent locally heavy rainfall over areas of the lower Warrego River has caused small river level rises along parts of the lower Warrego River.
There are currently no river level observations available at Cunnamulla Bridge manual station but based on the river level at the nearby automatic station the river level at Cunnamulla Bridge is expected to be below the minor flood level (6.00 m) and steady.
Further small renewed river level rises are possible over the next few days but the river level is likely to remain below the minor flood level (6.00 m).

The Warrego River at Rocky is currently at 1.60 metres (below minor) and falling.
Further small renewed river level rises are possible over the next few days but the river level is likely to remain below the minor flood level (2.50 m).
