Fire Weather Warning
for the Central West, West Pilbara Coast, Ashburton Inland, Gascoyne Coast,
Lower West Coast, Mortlock, Avon and Jilbadgie fire weather districts.

Issued at 11:47 am WST on Thursday 6 June 2019.

Weather Situation
Fresh to strong, gusty and dry N'ly winds ahead of an approaching cold front
expected to produce severe fire weather conditions through the western Gascoyne
and western parts of the South West Land Division, including Perth. Severe fire
weather conditions also expected in parts of the west Pilbara with fresh and
gusty easterly winds.

For the rest of Thursday 6 June:

Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire weather districts:
Central West, West Pilbara Coast, Ashburton Inland, Gascoyne Coast, Lower West
Coast, Mortlock, Avon and Jilbadgie


The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advises you to:
- Action your Bushfire Survival Plan now.
- Monitor the fire and weather situation through your local radio station,
www.dfes.wa.gov.au and www.bom.gov.au.
- Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.

No further warnings will be issued for this event, but the situation will
continue to be monitored and further warnings issued if necessary.
